  • Account Information: When you register, we store your full name, email address, and an encrypted version of your password.
  • Link Metadata: We store the original URLs you shorten and any custom aliases you assign to them.
  • Analytics & Traffic Data: When someone clicks a link, we collect technical info: IP address (to derive location), device type, operating system, browser, and the referring site.

2. Data Integrity & "Accidents"

Important: While we use modern security practices, we are honest about the nature of the web.

Nothing is forever. Databases can suffer from corruption, servers can fail, and software "accidents" can happen. We do not guarantee that your account data or link history will be preserved eternally. We are not liable for any data loss that may occur due to technical unforeseen events.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

  • Generate your personal analytics reports and traffic insights.
  • Monitor the platform for SPAM, phishing, or illegal activities.
  • Communicate with you regarding account updates or security alerts.

We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers. Our business is link management, not data brokerage.

5. Your Rights & Data Portability

You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your personal data at any time through your Dashboard. If you choose to delete your account, all associated links and analytics will be permanently removed from our active databases.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
